We’re only a few days away from landing in Austin, TX for SXSW Interactive, where CI&T will host a series of thought-provoking panels at its Lean Digital Speedway. We have lots in store, and we hope to see you there. We hope that you’ll stop by one of our panels and check out our speedway-themed lounge.

Don’t miss our panel - Getting to Yes: Innovation in Regulated Industries

Join leaders from Comerica Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Marina Maher Communications, CI&T and others on Monday, March 12th at 2:00pm-3:00pm.. at the Courtyard Marriott Austin, Rio Grande Room (2nd Floor), for our panel: Getting to Yes: Innovation in Regulated Industries.

In this panel we’ll explore:

  • What partners you need to successfully overcome barriers to innovation
  • How you frame a conversation to get to “yes, that may work, subject to restrictions
  • How a communication plan, design thinking or lean principles can help build consensus and overcome internal resistance to innovation

Why this matters

It is the best of times; it is the worst of times. There’s never been more excitement about the possibilities for technology to transform the world. However, regulated industries like pharma and banking still face the pressure to deliver continuous value to their customers while navigating through regulations that may impact their business.

The triad of regulatory pressures heightened public scrutiny, and high-profile events have all contributed to this uncertainty.

Not only has uncertainty led to increased concerns about operational and compliance risk, it has the potential to derail digital initiatives.

But all is not doom and gloom. Innovation still can (and does) flourish, especially when there are strong internal and external networks with the credibility to foster a culture willing to navigate risks—and turn those “no’s” into “yes”.
